Katie Bell was born in England in 1992, but moved to Scotland in 2004 and has lived in the North East ever since. Since being able to pick up a pencil, Katie has been making art and her house is full of drawings, paintings and prints of work she has created on the computer. She studied Computer Arts at the University of Abertay in Dundee to pursue a career in video games, but outside of making art for games, Katie creates vibrant acrylic and digital paintings with landscapes being her favourite subject. Katie's work is immediately identifiable from her use of fluorescent paints and vivid interpretations of famous Scottish landmarks.
